Latest News (Friday, 6/28) - UPDATED!

Work has begun on the asbestos trim removal.  The asbestos abatement crew arrived this morning and started to set up their cleaning equipment.  The cleaning requires much of the church to be covered with plastic containment, so the setup will be rather extensive.  Fortunately, the amount of asbestos tile is quite minimal, so the actual time to remove the tile is negligible.  The company hopes to be done within a week.

Our building contractor delivered the crane to the church property this morning.  This crane will be used to clear the debris from the scaffolding in the tabernacle area, and to assist with putting on a temporary roof.

Later today, the second company to bid on refinishing the pews will be out here to collect measurements in order to provide us with an estimate for their refurbishment.

Things are moving!
