Asbestos - Gone!

The asbestos removal from the church proceeded without a hitch.  The abatement company will return tomorrow (Friday) to finish deconstructing their containment structure.  But, since there was so little asbestos trim in the church, the removal time was very small.

Pelletier Builders was out here yesterday trying to engineer a temporary roof on top of the hole above the tabernacle.  They will return tomorrow for more work.

Dumpsters from our neighbors at Willimantic Waste Paper were brought in on Tuesday to replace the dumpsters that we have been using.  They will be there for the long haul.

In absence of any new pictures to show on the church construction, we are embedding a couple of videos put out by the Diocese of Peoria in Illinois about seminarians' vocations.  Chase Hilgenbrinck and Adam Cesarek are both buddies of our seminarian Jeff at Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD.  Each video is a few minutes in length, and gives a brief story of their own discernment to study for the priesthood.
